My Next Life in a Video Game

18 year old Aidan Newman was talking with his friends Brandon and Jensen. He was also typing on his phone, trying to write a story on CHYOA about a guy being reincarnated into a video game.

"So whats this Monster World about?" asked Jensen.

"Its a Reality Drop launch." said Aidan.

"Reality Drop?"

"Its that new virtual reality console. I'm one of its beta testers."

"That like one of those old Playstation headsets?"

"No, its made by a company called Digital Dreams. It is technically a VR headset but you're not moving your arms or pressing buttons. It literally uploads your mind into a virtual world."

"Hey, watch it." said Jensen.

Jensen grabbed Aidan before he could step onto the road, saving him from being hit by a truck.

"Thanks, you saved my life." said Aidan.

Aidan went into the Digital Dreams building. The guys had him put on the headset. Aidan spent a lot of time, creating his avatar.

"Why does he always spend so long on his avatars?" asked one of the technicians. "He knows we'll just delete it after we're done, right?"

Just as Aidan finished creating his avatar, the same truck that had nearly run him over earlier, came crashing through the window and ran him over.

The End

Just kidding. Aidan would be reborn as his in-game avatar.
