‘Employers and others have racial biases that influence hiring and other decisions,’ states a letter writer from Yorba Linda. ‘Unless we counter those biases with initiatives like DEI, the best candidates won’t necessarily be selected for schools, jobs, etc.’

‘The infrastructure — water, electricity and sewage — is already there along the 710,’ a Times reader writes. ‘Individual lots could be provided for those living in their own motor homes.’

‘I can’t support someone whose only qualification seems to be that people know her name,’ writes a reader from Los Osos.

‘If the choice was to develop in L.A. or anywhere else, you would chose anywhere else,’ writes a developer from Santa Monica, who says the levy hampers commercial development.

‘This is like creating an award in 2028 for silent movie title design,’ according to a reader from Los Angeles, who said CGI is making it pointless.
