Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly Shines Bright, Collects Rs 13.5 Crore On Day 2 Despite Non-Holiday Release

Good Bad Ugly, the Ajith Kumar starrer Tamil action-comedy, is currently enjoying a successful run at the box office. Helmed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film was released on April 10 and registered a massive Rs 29.25 Crore on its debut day, becoming the South superstar’s biggest opener of his career. Now, according to estimates, the film has minted a good amount on its second day as well.
On the second day, which happened to be a non-holiday, Good Bad Ugly collected Rs 13.50 crore, taking the film’s 2 days India’s box office collection to Rs 42.75 crore, according to sacnlik.com.

Going by the numbers, it will surpass the Rs 50 Crore mark on its third day and will march towards the Rs 75 crore box office collection mark. Good Bad Ugly’s five-day total would approach Rs 100 crore if it sees a significant increase on Saturday and Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see how the film holds up after the weekend.

In Good Bad Ugly, Ajith plays AK, an underworld lord who has been imprisoned for a long time and is about to be released. While AK attempts to start a new chapter in his life and break free from his bad habits, he is drawn back into the dark web when his son finds himself in a difficult circumstance and wants a way out.
Jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, the film has been getting positive reviews from fans and admirers, especially for its larger-than-life scale, nostalgia-heavy execution and the actor’s vintage charm.
After completing its theatrical run, Good Bad Ugly will stream on the OTT giant Netflix. Taking to X, the digital platform announced the film’s digital release earlier in January this year. As per a recent report by 123 Telugu, the digital rights of Good Bad Ugly were sold for Rs 95 crore, setting a new record for an Ajith film.
The actor is yet to announce his next project.
